Southwestern Engraved sterling silver gold roadrunner bolo tie

Vic Cedarstaff, marked “sterling 10K gold” and picto-hallmarked by Vic. This outstanding bolo tie showcases a
skillfully crafted gold roadrunner with engraving work all around. The triangular bolo slide that folds
back to hold the cord was allegedly designed, and patented by Victor
Emanuel Cedarstaff. Vic is known for having invented the bolo tie in the
late 1940s, although sterling silver bolo slides and tips have been
often linked to the Navajo, Zuni, and Hopi silversmiths. This
collectible piece weighs a total of 70.9 grams. The slide is approximately 1 5/8″ tall, by 1 3/4″ wide, at its widest. The gold figure applique
is about 5/8″ tall by 1 3/4″ wide, and 10k gold. The roughly 39 3/4″ long black cord (including the 2 3/4″ heavy-gauge tips) is gently used and has some scuffs, but no tears. The weaving is nice and tight. Light to moderate patina on slide and tips. Superb craftsmanship and design by Cedarstaff!

Returns due to color issues will not be refunded the original shipping.
Items have a fixed price, however, we will consider all reasonable offers. Low-ball offers may be disregarded depending on the volume of email we receive on any given day.
Store Policies:
We do not require immediate payment at time of purchase, and will work with buyers, at our discretion, on a future payment date that is mutually convenient. Depending on the asking price, you may have up to 90 days to make a payment.
We offer free return shipping so long as we receive the request within 14 days from delivery date for items purchased in the “Collectibles” category (when it’s the primary category), and 30 days for items purchased in the “Jewelry & Watches” category (when it’s the primary category).
Items must be returned in the same condition described in the listing.
Our items are packed securely and under surveillance cameras for your peace of mind.
All returns will be charged a 10% re-stocking fee up to $30, unless the item has a flaw, damage, or detail not previously mentioned in the listing and/or shown in the photographs provided, or if any aspect of the item, such as a measurement, was grossly misrepresented in the listing.
We ship next business day after payment is received. Friday sales are usually shipped on Mondays, unless it’s a holiday.
Items with asking price up to $145 may be shipped First Class, and all other items will be shipped Priority, unless buyers request something different prior to making the purchase. Tracking number will be automatically generated by eBay and posted to the transaction for both First Class and Priority shipping as soon as we create a label. Items over $400 will require signature upon delivery, as well as some some shipments to the East Coast due to delays and misplacement of packages. This applies even when address is a P. O. Box.
We combine shipping for multiple items.
